The technology used by NANO·4·U is superior to that of its competitors, as it allows the incorporation of three security layers cost effectively in one step: overt structures, covert nanostructures and forensic structures.

High security combinations of micro- and nanostructures and random structures can be applied on on the product and different levels of packaging. Furthermore, the nanostructures can be combined with barcodes or 2D printed codes. The authentication technology of the detection devices is capable of reading the nanostructures and verifying them with the information management system. For final proof of authenticity, the structures can also be verified on forensic level.
